What is the relationship between magnet, ferrite, Nd-Fe-B and plastic magnetism?

Issuing time:2021-05-04 16:55

Magnet is a general term. Ferrite, Nd-Fe-B and plastic magnet are all magnets.

Plastic magnetism is generally formed by the fusion of plastic raw materials and ferrite magnetic powder, and the magnetic force is very low. Ferrite magnet is the most common black (brown) magnet with low magnetic force. Neodymium iron boron is the magnet with the strongest magnetic force at present. It is an alloy mainly composed of rare earth metals.

According to the magnetic strength, NdFeB has the strongest magnetism, followed by ferrite and plastic magnetism. Various materials havetheir own brand lists‍.

According to the process, the first two are sintering processand plastic magnet is injection molding process.

In terms of mechanical properties, plastic magnetism is not easy to break, because there is nylon in the composition. The other two are easy to be angular fragmentation.

According to the working temperature, the working temperature of ferrite is - 40 ~ 200 ℃ (demagnetization occurs at both high and low temperatures).

The working temperature of NdFeB is 80 ~ 230 ℃.

The working temperature of plastic magnet is 100 ~ 180 degrees.

The above three correspond to the specific working temperature according to the specific brand.
